Perjuangan Melayu Mahathir Tidak Lagi Diterima

Malahan, ketika beli...

Kes Mahkamah Syed Saddiq, Peluang Baharu Muar?

Ahli Parlimen Muar, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman berkemungkinan memiliki tempoh singkat memegang jawatan berkenaan.

MUDA Bukan Pilihan Golongan Belia Lagi

Good Feng Shui - You Are Guilty Of The Same Thing, Syed Saddiq

Recently, former youth and sports minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman posted a cheeky video asking Housing and Local Government minister Nga Kor Ming to spend millions on Muar constituents because it also has good feng shui, similar to Kuala Kubu Baharu (KKB). In the short video clip, Syed Saddiq hinted at Nga for the RM5 million allocation announced just a week ahead of the KKB by-election nomination and over Nga's statement for choosing KKB, just because KKB has good feng shui and is 'ong' (prosperous), asking for similar allocation to be given to Muar. Syed Saddiq seems to harbour a sense of cynicism and, possibly, bitterness, believing that there is a grand conspiracy against his tenure in Muar – thinking that the government is doing all it can to punish Saddiq for going independent. But honestly, did Saddiq forget that he did the same thing in government – and one can’t help but raise the fact that Saddiq too, was guilty of practising “good feng shui” during his tim...

Saddiq's Sad Quest for Relevancy

Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, the founder and leader of Muda, has sparked concerns about the authenticity of his principles and motivations through his recent actions. His response to the Budget 2024 press conference has drawn criticism from netizens, who see it as a knee-jerk and reactive attempt to project an image of moral superiority. However, some suspect that it's just another calculated political maneuver to regain relevance at a pivotal political juncture. Syed Saddiq's decision to step down and withdraw his party's sole parliamentary seat from the government bench, potentially jeopardizing the government's two-thirds majority in Parliament, has garnered significant attention. Yet, the actual impact of this move may be limited, as he has pledged support for supposed "legitimate reforms." Syed Saddiq is undoubtedly a crafty politician who seizes opportunities to his advantage. Nevertheless, many Malaysians now question the sincerity of his opposition t...

What is Syed Saddiq Doing?

Recent actions by Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, the founder and leader of Muda, have sparked questions regarding his principles and motivations. Syed Saddiq has taken a strong stance against the dropping of corruption charges against Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. Some have wondered wonder whether his actions are driven by a sincere commitment to combating corruption in Malaysia or if they are merely a calculated political maneuver to demonstrate his influence at a crucial political juncture. Syed Saddiq's decision to step down and withdraw his party's sole parliamentary seat from the government bench, potentially jeopardizing the government's two-thirds majority in Parliament, has garnered significant attention. However, the impact of this move may be limited, as he has pledged support for legitimate reforms. It's worth noting that in 2019, all 211 MPs present in Parliament supported legislation to lower the voting age to 18, indicating that a two-thirds m...

We Need Strength From Our Leaders After 'Jom Ziarah'

March proved to be a tumultuous month for religious relations in Malaysia, as irresponsible parties attempted to rile up the Malay Muslim base over the "Jom Ziarah" scandal - an effort ostensibly led by Badrul Hisham Shaharin, or better known by Chegubard, and his benefactors. The conspiracy theorist claimed that current Youth and Sports Minister, Hannah Yeoh was a "Christian evangelist" and that there was a wider "DAP plot" to Christianize the country. He even claimed that there is an attempt to cover up Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh's wrongdoings in its probe into the "Jom Ziarah Gereja" programme. Let's ignore that a planned visit to a church was part of a broader programme where youths would be brought to different houses of worship to foster better understanding, a familiar gesture made by all faiths, including Muslims. Let's also ignore that Yeoh clarified that no Muslim youths had been involved in the programme, also st...
